How to Share Instagram Photos to Twitter Automatically | Instagram Twitter Integration

This article will demonstrate how to combine Instagram and Twitter. By integrating the two, any new content uploaded to your Instagram account will be automatically shared on Twitter.
The integration process only needs to be set up once and can be achieved using Pabbly Connect.
Firstly, we will connect Instagram to Pabbly Connect to retrieve any newly uploaded content, and then link Pabbly Connect to Twitter to publish the same content on your Twitter account.

Steps to Automatically Post Instagram Media to Twitter

1. Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow
2. Establish a Connection between Instagram and Pabbly Connect
3. Setup Twitter as the Action App to Post Content

Step 1:- Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow

A. Sign In / Sign Up

To begin this process, visit Pabbly Connect and create your account by clicking on the ‘Sign Up Free’ button. You can also click on Sign In if you already have an account.

Click on the Pabbly Connect ‘Access Now’ button

B. Create Workflow

To create a new workflow, click the ‘Create Workflow’ button.

Name your workflow, and click on ‘Create’.

Step 2:- Establish a Connection between Instagram and Pabbly Connect

We will now look at how we will establish a link between Instagram and Pabbly Connect. This will enable us to capture information about recently uploaded posts.

A. Trigger App

Trigger allows us to choose the application that will retrieve the data for Pabbly Connect. In this instance, it would be Instagram.

Choose ‘Instagram for Business’ as the Trigger App, select ‘New Media Posted in My Account’, and click on ‘Connect’.

B. Connect Instagram Account

To connect with your Instagram account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect With Instagram for Business’. Additionally, grant the necessary authorization.

Choose the desired Instagram account from which you wish to capture posts and then click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.

Expand the Response Receive section to confirm that the established connection is working by ensuring that the details of your latest post are visible.

Step 3:- Setup Twitter as the Action App to Post Content

Action allows us to choose the application that will get executed by the workflow trigger.
Our objective is to post the content obtained from Instagram on Twitter, which means that Twitter will serve as our Action App.

A. Action App

Choose ‘Twitter’ as the Action App, select ‘Create Tweet with Media’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.

B. Connect Twitter Account

To connect with your Twitter account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect With Twitter’. Additionally, grant the necessary authorization.

C. Map Necessary Fields

Once you have successfully linked your Twitter account, all you need is to map the post from the step above. Mapping ensures our data remains dynamic and changes as per the received responses.

Compose a Message by mapping the post from the step above.

Similarly, map the Media File URL, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.

The moment you click on Save & Send Test Request, your Instagram post will also be shared on Twitter.

The automation process is complete, and we have successfully integrated Instagram with Twitter. From now on, whenever you create a new post on Instagram, its content will be automatically posted to Twitter simultaneously.
