In this post, we will discuss how you can integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Google Meet, and schedule a meeting with Facebook Leads on Google Meet automatically. This meeting will be reflected in your Google Calendars, and an email will also be delivered to your lead containing the meeting invitation.
This automation requires a simple one-time setup, for which we will use Pabbly Connect.
We will link Facebook Lead Ads with Pabbly Connect to capture the lead data, send this data to Google Meet to schedule a meeting and finally send those leads an email containing the invite.
Steps to Schedule a Meeting with Facebook Leads on Google Meet Automatically
1. Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow
2. Establish a connection between Facebook Lead Ads and Pabbly Connect
3. Set Start and End time of the Meeting
4. Setup Google Meet as the Action App
Step 1:- Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow
A. Sign In / Sign Up
To begin this process, visit Pabbly Connect and create your account by clicking on the ‘Sign Up Free’ button. You can also click on Sign In if you already have an account.
Click on the Pabbly Connect ‘Access Now’ button
B. Create Workflow
To create a new workflow, click the ‘Create Workflow’ button.
Name your workflow, and click on ‘Create’.
Step 2:- Establish a connection between Facebook Lead Ads and Pabbly Connect
We will now look at the steps through which we will establish a link between Facebook Lead Ads and Pabbly Connect. This will help us to fetch the lead details from Facebook Form responses.
A. Trigger App
Trigger allows us to choose the application that will receive the data for Pabbly Connect. In our case, it would be Facebook Lead Ads.
Expand the trigger step, choose ‘Facebook Lead Ads’ as the Trigger App, and select ‘New Lead (Instant)’ as your Trigger Event. Click on ‘Connect’. Doing this will result in Facebook Lead Ads sending data directly to Pabbly Connect whenever a new lead is generated.
Select ‘Add New Connection’, and click on ‘Connect With Facebook Lead Ads’. Also, grant the authorization.
B. Establish Connection
Select the Facebook page on which you are running the lead ads, and choose the LeadGen Form you want to link with Pabbly Connect. Click on ‘Save And Send Test Request’.
As soon as you click on ‘Save And Send Test Request’, Pabbly Connect will start looking to fetch data from Facebook Lead Ads indicated by the rotating ‘Waiting for Webhook Response Button’.
C. Test the Connection
To fetch the lead details, we will use the ‘Facebook Lead Ads testing tool’, which will help us create a dummy lead. Upon submission of this dummy lead, Pabbly Connect will capture the data from Facebook Lead Ads to test our established connection.
Click on ‘Facebook Lead Ads testing tool’
You will be redirected to the Lead Ads Testing Tool, where you need to create a dummy lead.
Select the Page and Form you want to link, and click on ‘Preview form’
Fill out this dummy form, click on ‘Next’, and ‘Submit’ this form.
Switch back to Pabbly Connect, expand Response Received, and our dummy details must be visible, thus confirming our established connection.
We have established a link between Facebook Lead Ads and Pabbly Connect. Pabbly Connect will now automatically fetch the details of any new leads.
Step 3:- Set Start and End time of the Meeting
We will now set Start and End time of our meeting.
A. Set Starting Time
Choose ‘Date/Time Formatter by Pabbly’ as your app, select ‘Add/Subtract Time’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’
In Enter Date, map date and time of lead submission from above. Mapping ensures that your data remains dynamic and change according to each new submission.
In Expression, enter the period after which you want your meeting to be scheduled from the initial lead submission.
In both the To Format and From Format fields, choose the format that matches the most with our data, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.
The time we received in response will act as the starting time of our meeting.
B. Set Ending Time
Add another step by clicking on the ‘+’ button
Choose ‘Date/Time Formatter by Pabbly’ as your app, select ‘Add/Subtract Time’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.
In Enter Date, map the date and time for which our meeting is scheduled.
In Expression, enter the duration of your meeting.
Again choose the format which matches the most with our data, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’
Response Received contains the time at which our meeting would end.
Step 4:- Setup Google Meet as the Action App
A. Action App
Action allows us to choose the application that will get executed by the workflow trigger.
We essentially want to send our leads a Google Meet meeting invitation. Hence Google Meet will be our Action App.
Choose ‘Google Sheets’ as your Action App, select ‘Schedule a Meeting’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’
B. Connect Google Meet Account
To connect with your Google Meet account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect with Google Meet’. Also, grant the authorization.
C. Enter / Map the lead details
Select the Calendar on which you want to add your meeting details.
In Summary, enter a suitable title for your invitation.
In Description, enter the purpose of the meeting along with a link to join.
Map the Start and End time of your meeting.
In Attendee Email, map the email address of your lead. This is the email address to which the meeting invitation will be sent. Click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.
We have received a response confirming our connection.
Lead Ads form respondent has received an email containing the meeting invitation.
With this, our automation is complete. We have successfully integrated Facebook Lead Ads with Google Meet. Now, whenever a new user responds to your Facebook form, a meeting will be automatically scheduled in Google Meet and the respondent will receive an email along with the meeting invitation.
