How to Post on Twitter the Same Content Posted on Facebook – Facebook to Twitter

In this article, we will explore the process of integrating Facebook with Twitter for effortless content sharing. Once the setup is finished, any new posts made on Facebook will be automatically posted on Twitter as well.
The integration can be set up with a one-time configuration using Pabbly Connect.
We will first link Facebook with Pabbly Connect to capture any new content posted on your Facebook account, then link Pabbly Connect with Twitter and post the same content on Twitter.

Step to Automatically Share Facebook Posts on Twitter

1. Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow
2. Setup Facebook Pages as the Trigger App to Capture New Posts
3. Setup Twitter as the Action App to Post Content

Step 1:- Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow

A. Sign In / Sign Up

To begin this process, visit Pabbly Connect and create your account by clicking on the ‘Sign Up Free’ button. You can also click on Sign In if you already have an account.

Click on the Pabbly Connect ‘Access Now’ button

B. Create Workflow

To create a new workflow, click the ‘Create Workflow’ button.

Name your workflow, and click on ‘Create’.

Step 2:- Setup Facebook Pages as the Trigger App to Capture New Posts

We will now look at the steps to create a connection between a Facebook Page and Pabbly Connect, which will enable us to retrieve recently uploaded posts from the Facebook Page.

A. Trigger App

Trigger allows us to choose the application that will retrieve the data for Pabbly Connect. In this instance, it would be Facebook Pages.

Choose ‘Facebook Pages’ as the Trigger App, select ‘New Post’ as a Trigger Event, and click on ‘Connect’.

B. Connect Facebook Account

To connect with your Facebook account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect With Facebook Pages’. Additionally, grant the necessary authorization.

Choose the specific Page from which you wish to capture posts, enter the Number of Posts you want to retrieve and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.

Expand the Response Received section to check if the details of your most recent post are visible, which serves as confirmation that the connection has been successfully established.

Step 3:- Setup Twitter as the Action App to Post Content

Action allows us to choose the application that will get executed by the workflow trigger.
We essentially want to post the content captured from Facebook to Twitter. Thus, Twitter will be our Action App.

A. Action App

Choose ‘Twitter’ as the Action App, select ‘Create Tweet with Media’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.

B. Connect Twitter Account

To connect with your Twitter account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect With Twitter’. Additionally, grant the necessary authorization.

C. Map Necessary Fields

Once you have successfully linked your Twitter account, all you need is to map the post from the step above. Mapping ensures our data remains dynamic and changes as per the received responses.

Compose a Message by mapping the post from the step above.

Similarly, map the Media File URL, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.

The moment you click on Save & Send Test Request, your Facebook post will also be shared on Twitter.

The automation process is now complete. We have successfully integrated Facebook with Twitter. From this point forward, whenever a new post is published on your Facebook account, it will be automatically shared on Twitter at the same time.
