In this post, we will explore how to integrate OneDrive with YouTube. This will enable any new videos that are uploaded to your OneDrive account to be automatically uploaded to your YouTube channel.
This automation requires a one-time setup, for which we will use Pabbly Connect.
Initially, we will link OneDrive to Pabbly Connect to fetch any recently uploaded videos. Subsequently, we will connect Pabbly Connect to YouTube and upload the same videos on the platform.
Steps to Automatically Upload YouTube Videos from OneDrive Files
1. Sign In / Sign Up to Pabbly Connect and Create a Workflow
2. Establish a Connection between OneDrive and Pabbly Connect
3. Setup YouTube as the Action App to Fetch Video Category List
4. Setup YouTube as the Action App to Upload Videos

Step 2:- Establish a Connection between OneDrive and Pabbly Connect
We will now look at the steps through which we will establish a link between OneDrive and Pabbly Connect. This will enable us to retrieve the recently uploaded files from OneDrive.
A. Trigger App
Trigger allows us to choose the application that will receive the data for Pabbly Connect. In our case, it would be OneDrive
Choose ‘Microsoft OneDrive’ as the Trigger App, select ‘New File’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.
B. Connect Microsoft OneDrive Account
To connect with your OneDrive account, select ‘Add New Connection’, and click on ‘Connect With Microsoft OneDrive’.
Set the Folder Path to specify the folder from where you want to capture the files, select ‘New File Created’ as the Event Type, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.
When you click on Save & Send Test Request, Pabbly Connect will retrieve the information from the most recent file that you uploaded to your OneDrive account.
A connection has been set up between OneDrive and Pabbly Connect, allowing Pabbly Connect to automatically retrieve any files that are uploaded to OneDrive.
Step 3:- Setup YouTube as the Action App to Fetch Video Category List
Action allows us to choose the application that will get executed by the workflow trigger.
Prior to uploading the captured video to YouTube, we will first retrieve the list of video categories.
A. Action App
Choose ‘YouTube’ as your Action App, select ‘List Video Categories’ as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.
B. Connect YouTube Account
To connect with your YouTube account, select ‘Add New Connection’ and click on ‘Connect With YouTube’. Also, grant the authorization.
Enter the Country Code, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.
Upon clicking on the Save & Send Test Request button, the list of categories will be captured automatically.
Step 4:- Setup YouTube as the Action App to Upload Videos
Our primary goal is to transfer the files obtained from OneDrive to the YouTube channel, and to accomplish this, we will once again set up YouTube as the Action App.
A. Action App
Choose ‘YouTube’ as the Action App, select ‘Upload Video (Beta) as an Action Event, and click on ‘Connect’.
B. Establish Connection
As we have already established a connection with the YouTube account, we simply need to choose the ‘Select Existing Connection’ option and then click on ‘Save’.
Select the Channel ID where you want to upload the video.
C. Map Necessary Fields
After successfully linking your YouTube account, the next step is to map the video details from the previous step. Mapping ensures our data remains dynamic and changes as per the received responses.
Map the Video Title and Video Description from the step above.
Similarly, enter / map the other necessary fields, and click on ‘Save & Send Test Request’.
Once you click on Save & Send Test Request, the process of uploading to your YouTube channel will be initiated.
The automation process is now finished, with successful integration between OneDrive and YouTube. From this point forward, any new videos that are uploaded to your OneDrive account will be automatically uploaded to your YouTube channel.
